Battle for Paragon by Isikol

In the City of Heroes universe everyone knows that Proud Citizen and PinUp Girl are stalwarts of that heroic group known as the Gods of the Golden Age.

But in an alternate reality the Gods took a darker path. On this earth the second Rikti invasion was much more vicious and destructive. Hardened by years of battle the Gods of this universe became the Masters of the Golden Age and, after finally defeating the alien invaders, they created a worldwide authoritarian regime where their word is law.

Here we see Proud Soldier and Teardown (the MGA versions of Proud Citizen and PinUp Girl) battling the Rikti on the blasted streets of Paragon City during the Second Rikti War.

This absolutely awesome piece was done by one of my favourite DevArt artists, Isikol:



Isikol is not only incredibly talented but he also works very fast and is just an all-around pleasure to work with. Check out his gallery!

I mean what more can be said about this piece but....WOW!

I told Isikol what I wanted and he has interpreted it perfectly. And the detail on the full size version of this is incredible. You can see every scratch, crack and wrinkle on the outfits of the two combatants. And they also look as badass as I always thought they would.
