I just want to say that the last 21 days have been the best of my life

Yes, my lovely Masked Shrike recently winged her way Down Under to spend three weeks with yours truly. What can I say? She is beautiful, smart, funny, witty and remarkably tolerant of a big palooka like me

She’s my angel and a true lady in every sense of the word.

Now she is back on the other side of the planet and that is very, VERY hard. I miss her more than words can say. No hand to hold. No lips to kiss. No-one to snuggle with. Well at least for now. In two months I’ll be heading to the good ol’ US of A to see her again. And believe me this is going to be the longest two months of my life. It will certainly be an adventure. New places to see. New people to meet. Although there is only one face I really want to see and it warms my heart that my Lady Shrike will be there waiting for me
